The study "Who owns the Brazilian Carbon?" hosted by the, SEED, KTH, was highlighted this week by the leading Brazilian newspaper Folha de São Paulo in a article written by the journalist Marcelo Leite. The article emphasized the findings from the study related to the potential carbon emissions associated with land use change in the Cerrado biome, savanna vegetation where most of the unprotected above-ground carbon is stored.
